The location
Schanzlbichl sits in a peaceful part of Fügen — yet everything is close by. The Spieljochbahn cable car – operating in winter and summer – is a short walk away, and the ski and hikers bus to Hochfügen stops just around the corner, as are a sled run and a playground. Other ski and hiking areas throughout the Zillertal can be easily reached by ski and hiking bus, train, or car. Furthermore, you'll find several restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity.

And if you feel like taking it a little slower, you can take a walk in the snow or sit back and enjoy a lazy afternoon in any of the valley's cosy chalets.
Winter fun on the Spieljoch
Spieljoch, a family-friendly ski area, is right on your doorstep. A mere five-minute walk and one cable-car ride away, you'll find easy slopes, kid-friendly lifts and toboggan runs – ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers of all ages.
Zillertal Superskipass
The Zillertal Superskipass gives you access to all the ski areas in the Zillertal valley. And a free ski bus takes you to Hochfügen, Hochzillertal and beyond. The stop is just a two-minute walk away – leave your car behind and enjoy hassle-free transport.
Winter walks, sledding, ice skating
Toboggan runs and winter walking trails are not only found on the Spieljoch, but also in the nearby woods and in Hochfügen. Ice skating rinks with skate hire are available in Fügen and Kaltenbach.
